My story (so far)

I am a performance artist, storyteller, puppeteer and educator at schools, libraries, conferences, churches, festivals, corporate and special events. Degrees in education and a small town upbringing in the Catskill Mountains open a gateway to a long list of presentations. No matter the genre, whether folktales, fairytales, puppets, or personal stories, I love bringing excitement and insight to stage and classroom.

Besides telling stories, I love to garden, recycle and re-purpose pretty much anything, antiques (there is a story held in those old items, if you listen hard enough), and books. I tat (an old needle work where you make lace out of string), and sew. I design and make many of my puppets. From time to time I run a puppet hospital. I have 3 children, all now adults and all have careers in the arts. My husband, Steven, and I have been married for nearly 40 years and we just fit together. (Seems like it is gonna work out.)
